How do I book a session?

Glad you asked! If you’re reading this, you are likely planning to reach out, or already have - that is step number one :). From there, we will discuss what it is your looking for from the shoot, whether this fits with one of my standard packages (always happy to put together a custom session!), we’ll decide on location and set a date. First time clients, as well as larger projects like weddings and commercial work, do require a deposit, and that is due at booking.

You’ll receive a confirmation email about a week before our shoot, and then, on shoot day, you’ll get to relax and I’ll do the work!

How are photos delivered?

All photos are delivered digitally. You will be emailed the photos which are printable up to 5x7 - these you can print wherever you’d like. You will also have a personalized and password protected online gallery where you can order prints of any size. I want to ensure that if you are printing images on a large scale, that the print job reflects the color correction and editing that I have put into your pictures. Although places like Walgreens do print photos, they don’t always turn out perfectly - if you are hanging a large scale photo on your wall, we have to make sure it looks wonderful.

What camera equipment do you use?

I am a Nikon user through and through! I shoot with a couple of Nikon D850’s, and have a few other Nikon bodies I’ll use from time to time. For post-production, I am in Photoshop perfecting the images.

What goes into retouching my images?

All photos are color-corrected and adjustments are made to exposure and contrast. For retouching on people, my general rule of thumb is to remove/reduce anything that is temporary, so, I get rid of acne, I’ll lighten those dark circles that may be under your eyes, I’ll get rid of stray hairs, etc. I do also reduce lines on your skin and smooth out complexions. I don’t alter your physical form (widening eyes, thinning your waist, lengthening legs) - you should look like you!

That said, If there is something you would like altered for personal reasons, please let me know before the shoot so we can discuss.
